WELCOME TO THE CANCER BONUS TOUR - NOW ALL FINISHED!

WHAT I'M DOING

Thank you for visiting the Cancer Bonus Tour, a journey that I will be undertaking during 2017 in support of two charities, Bloodwise and the Sussex Cancer Fund.

During my 30 years working in live music production, I have worked at 332 venues throughout the UK, located in 105 different towns and cities ranging from Inverness to Truro.

For this tour, I will be visiting every one of these venues in the 1963 Vauxhall Victor pictured here and meeting some of the wonderful artists and touring personnel I’ve worked with along the way. I will be updating this website to include interviews, performances, touring anecdotes and photographs of friends with the car, so please come back and enjoy the content.

The tour will start on 1st May 2017, and all the costs will be funded from my own resources to ensure every penny raised through sponsorship and private donations benefit the two charities.

WHAT YOU CAN DO

WHY I'M DOING IT

My name is Bryan Leitch and I have been working in the live music industry as a lighting designer for over 30 years. In 2009 I was diagnosed with a form of non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma and the following year had a successful bone marrow transplant. I have been very lucky over the past seven years and it is thanks to cancer research and the efforts of the NHS medical staff that I am alive today.

In addition to raising money for research and cancer care, I want to promote a positive message about public health care in this country and cancer survival. Bad stories about the NHS get a lot of publicity and the good ones rarely get heard.

Most recently, I have enjoyed working as part of Mirrad on many projects, including James Taylor, Carole King, Gabrielle and Billy Ocean. I am pleased to say I am still touring now. Bryan

WHERE I'VE BEEN!
